siblings, oh how we love them. as the story goes, when four-year-old kerrin learned that she was going to have “a new baby brother!” instead of a baby sister, it got ugly…literally. when asked what she would like to name her soon-to-be-born brother, our charming little four-year-old responded with the uncharacteristically pouty answer of “ugly, i wanna name him ugly.” fortunately, that ship sailed before precious baby bro (also known as devon) was born, and little kerrin just couldn’t stop cooing “oh look how cute he is!!” sixteen years later and nothing has changed; seriously though, look how cute he is!! (see here, fifth from the bottom.)
darling (not-so-little) brother has established quite the sense of style himself, i like to think i taught him everything he knows, typical older sister rhetoric which lends itself well to a tongue-in-cheek quip about what said big sister might be wearing. case in point: the above outfit, “yo sis, you look like an assassin.”
“dev, it’s assassin-chic, duh!” just kidding. while he may have a point, at the end of the day, we see eye-to-eye on the important things like sneakers (willows and foamposites alike), metallic backpacks, and of course, the meaning of life.
